The Botanic Baby Forever Blanket is made from 100% Australian cotton sourced from Toowoomba and crafted in Melbourne. Made from luxurious long fiber cotton, the blanket is silky soft and hypoallergenic, with a medium weight of 500gsm and large rib design. It comes in the most versatile size of 100cm x 120cm making it useful for naps (including yours), pram wrap or sleep cover, car seat journeys.  Custom sizes are available on request. 

Botanic Baby is dedicated to sustainability, with their blankets made from natural fibers locally and supporting a local social enterprise by diverting waste from landfills. The strength of Australian cotton fibers, especially when wet, makes this blanket durable and long-lasting even after multiple washes.  Tried and tested in our textile factory which also serviced some pretty serious dirty cotton. 

The unique architectural knit makes the heirloom blanket both snug breathable and stretchy to enable wrapping and tucking. 

We now offer blanket personalisation, making this keepsake very special. 

How Personalisation Works

Every Forever Blanket and European Pillow Case is made to order, hand-embroidered with the name — and, if you like, a birth date — you choose when you order.

Please double-check spelling, capitalisation and any dates before you check out. Because each piece is personalised specifically for you, we can't guarantee changes once embroidery has started — if you spot a mistake, contact us straight away through our contact form and we'll do everything we can before production begins.

Want something beyond a name and date — a different placement, wording, or design? Reach out through our contact form and we're happy to talk custom embroidery.

Made-to-Order Turnaround

Because each piece is personalised especially for you, we make it to order rather than holding pre-embroidered stock. Our current turnaround is 3 business days before your order is dispatched, shipped via Australia Post.

Buying ahead of a baby shower, birth, or another date that matters? We'd suggest ordering at least 1–2 weeks out, to allow for embroidery, dispatch and delivery time.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

Shipping. We ship Australia-wide via Australia Post. Your personalised item is made to order (see Turnaround, above) and posted as soon as it's ready.

Returns & exchanges. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or with an embroidery error that's our mistake, contact us and we'll put it right — repair, replacement or refund, whichever's right for the fault. Because your item is made specifically for you, we're not able to exchange or refund it for a change of mind once personalisation is underway — so it's worth double-checking your details before you check out (see How Personalisation Works, above). For anything else, our full Refund Policy applies.

Caring for Your Personalised Piece

Both the Forever Blanket and European Pillow Case are made from natural, Australian-grown cotton — soft, breathable, and made to soften further with every wash.

To keep the embroidery looking its best: wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent, and skip the fabric softener and bleach. Lay flat or line dry rather than tumble drying — it protects both the cotton and the stitching.

Cared for well, these pieces are designed to be kept, not just used for a season.
